April Banbury From MAFS Is Former Ms Great Britain
April Banbury from Married In First Sight is one of the stars of this year's season and is prepared to go down the aisle and wed a stranger. She has crowned Miss Great Britain at the age of 30, which seems fascinating for many beauty pageant participants around the world. After a new category for women over 28 was added to the competition, she was named the first-ever Ms. Great Britain.
In a spectacular event in Leicester, April Banbury, of Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, was named the winner of the new beauty competition after defeating hundreds of other competitors.
The beauty queen is the daughter of cyclist Ian Banbury, who competed for Great Britain in the 1976 Olympics and set a record for being the youngest cyclist to earn a medal. She also expressed her happiness at having kept going despite finishing second twice in the Miss Great Britain competition to Femail.
