Thiago Alcantara had what has to be described as his greatest moment in a Liverpool shirt on Wednesday evening as he scored an absolute peach against Porto, and his goal even left Georginio Wijnaldum impressed.
Thiago's goal was absolutely outstanding. It was the sweetest of strikes as his long-range volley flew into the bottom corner.
The Spaniard put the perfect amount of backspin on the ball and it was absolutely impossible to stop.
Understandably, the wider footballing world has been blown away by his effort, and one man who has seemingly sat up and taken notice is former Liverpool star Wijnaldum.
Wijnaldum was clearly very impressed by Thiago's goal and he was even compelled to tweet a couple of emojis that showed just how blown away the Dutchman was.
While Wijnaldum's PSG were busy losing to Manchester City, it seems as though the midfielder had one eye on his former club, and it is interesting to note that this is the first tweet Wijnaldum posted after PSG's defeat.
The 31-year-old clearly still has a lot of love for Liverpool, but on Wednesday, Thiago showed why Wijnaldum isn't being missed all that much in the heart of the Merseyside club's midfield.
